Now Showing at Damien Minton Gallery

The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself. And the latest works from Elaine draw the eye mesmerically into a world that she has created from scraps of plastic, tin foil, toys, cups and saucers and other bits and pieces that defy our knowledge. She is the master of the vignette, and in this exhibition she is at full stretch and in top form.

There is a political whack that in lesser hands could be almost mere whimsy. This is where the strength of these works lies. These times demand that artists address the political issues of the day and Elaine does this. The images she creates will live long in our minds. There are one or two works in this exhibition that should become a part of photographic history.

Check out this show. You will not be disappointed. Not to be missed.
